1st Look Media has been servicing the Chicagoland real estate market since 2016, providing high quality media and marketing services to residential real estate brokers.

1st Look Media provides photography, videography, aerial photography/videography, 3D modeling, floor plans, and more. It is preferred that our photographers are able to offer as many of these services as possible but only photography is required.

Photography
We shoot three bracketed HDR images for all our shoots and we do not use flash. A wide angle lens is required with a minimum focal length of 18mm. If your camera body has a crop sensor you can calculate the full frame focal length equivalent by multiplying the focal length of your lens by the crop factor of your camera. Or ask Google.

Along with the camera our photographers are required to have a sturdy tripod with a leveling tripod head.

Our most popular photography order is our 30 Photo Package. The pay for this is $50 and should take less than an hour on site. We provide floor plans with most of our photography shoots and creating a floor plan on site takes between 5-10 minutes and pays an additional $5. So total payout for most shoots is $55.

  • Aerial Photography - payout $45

  • Videography - payout between $50-$100

  • Matterport 3D Modeling - payout begins at $25 and is dependent on size of area scanned

The majority of our clients place their orders online using our website or mobile app. Our system integrates with each photographers’ Google calendar to determine availability for scheduling. Our photographers have control over when they are available to be scheduled and what amount of lead time they need (same day scheduling, 24 hour notice, etc.). 

Each photographer has a travel zone of approximately 10 miles from their home or the designated area they choose to work in. A travel fee is paid for bookings beyond that initial 10 miles but our goal is to minimize travel as much as possible and keep our photographers is a centralized zone. 

Our work flow is pretty simple post shoot. We require images to be uploaded to our portal the day of the shoot, ensuring that all relevant images are delivered. If there are any job notes or requests from the client, enter those into the portal as well so that the rest of the team is on the same page and we can hit our goal of next day delivery of the finished images.
